Refrigeration Expansion for Queensland Abattoir
Tri Tech completed a year-long refrigeration expansion at a Western Queensland Abattoir. The expansion included a new plant room, two automated plate freezers, dehumidifier, and a large storage freezer. A new propylene glycol refrigeration circuit was also installed to provide additional cooling in the existing building along with new loadout and palletiser rooms. An existing plantroom was relocated to make way for the new expansion. This gave the opportunity to combine all refrigeration systems at the site to increase refrigeration redundancy and lower power consumption.
